You have probably seen a lot of different New Year's resolution posts and might even be tired of them at this point, but I promise this will be different than other that you have seen because I am going to show you a year in review of 2019 and move into some things I am wanting to happen in 2020! So welcome and I hope that you get as excited about these things as I have!
So like I said above, this is going to be a little different than other New Years posts that you might have seen floating around on the internet these days, but I want to start with some things I am looking forward to in 2020! 2019 was definitely a struggle for me personally and I feel like it was reflected in my business. There was a lot of loss and lots trials that came at my husband and I this past year, and at times I really didn't handle them very well, but as 2020 is getting underway I am learning to lean into God and loved ones for support during the difficult times!
I saw a post on Instagram a few days before the New Year that instead of making resolutions you follow the list below for things that you would like to accomplish in the next year. I of course still have business goals and resolutions, but I really like the idea of posting something a little different than just how many weddings I hope to book this year or the fact that I want to update my branding. Because if we are being completely honest, you probably don't really care about those types of goals!
Okay, okay, sorry! Here are my 2020 wishes and hopes as we move into the new year!
I want to start... trusting in myself and my editing style
I want to learn... to rely on God's plan for my life and this little business
I want to try... film photography!
I want to continue to... grow and learn in this craft and artistry and hone my skills
I want to quit... overthinking everything. And by everything, I do mean everything!
I want to be... a better and more loving wife
I want to have... confidence in myself and my skills
Okay, well if you have made it to this point, congratulations and thank you for sticking along! Now, I am going to share 19 of my favorite images from 2019! I hope you enjoy!!
Well there you go! I am excited for what 2020 has in store and I can't wait for all the amazing weddings and couples that I will have the pleasure of working with this year!
